Barry's exposure
to car racing began when he was 5 years old when his dad was the track
timer and electrician for racetracks in Longmont, Greeley and Cheyenne.
Barry attended the races while his dad operated the timing equipment
-- he followed the activities of the early stock car drivers over
the next 10 years.
Later, Barry
entered his racing career by racing motorcycles. He was one of the
original founders of the track just off I-25 between Loveland and
Berthoud now operated by the Valley Dirt Riders.
His car racing
began and continues with his interest in the Legend cars which he
has raced for the past 6 years.
Barry
lives in Loveland, Colorado with his wife, Kay. He continues to be
involved in various water operations in Northern Colorado, thus giving
him his title "CO H2O Guy".
